Print Out Messy Code

Print Out Messy Code

What messy code looks like in your inkjet printers? Let's take a look below.

Why this happened?
Generally is the electric problem.

One of customers experienced this situation 1 month ago and found us to do the repair.
We checked printhead, headboard, main board head cables one by one.
Finally found the headboard cable slot have liquid, should be ink in the slot. That means once the printer start working, the electricity was through the headboard , which lead to the printhead fired.
In my previous posts, we mentioned that headboard damage will lead to the printhead fired with high possibility.
It is important to find the source of problem before replace your parts.

When the printhead has clog, banding, fuzzy, fail to print out issues ect. That does not mean the printhead has to be replaced.

What we can do when our printer parts damaged?
Sometimes it is simple question.
Sometimes when the parts are printhead, headboard, mainboard, which are costly parts,it matters for many small sign companies.
There are many printing job in a sign company, maybe two printers, five printers,or more. When the printers stop working caused by some damaged parts, the first thing is to detect which part caused problem, this task usually did by professional technician or local printer agent, means the printer owner will pay the service charge by hours plus new parts costs.
Printer owners do not think the parts can be repaired or recovered, actually, not every parts need to be replaced new one, mainly for the high cost parts, like printhead(USD1000-USD2000),headboard,main board (USD1500-USD2000) ,they can be repaired through replaced some program chips, resistance or some tiny parts inside of them. The most important thing is that repair can save you 50% cost compared to purchase a new one.

Don't hesitate to consult if you have any question about printer parts repair or recovery
