Troubleshoot your printing problem for your wide format printer

When we encounter the printing problems like over spray, only print one color or only one color cannot be printed, which do not get away from the parts like printhead, damper, ink line, captop, wiper, head cable, ink pump, fuses on the head board ect.

Think about it, when pepole just purchased a printhead, after installation, they encountered printing problems, the  first thing that come to mind is the printhead, after they finished cleaning several times, the printing problems are there!

Is it the printhead(Roland printhead,Mimaki printhead,Mutoh printhead) so sensitive to be damaged? In fact, the print head has no scratches on the surface, no mechanical damage, we can confirm it is the good printhead. After installation, we need do some adjustment upon the service manual, and test the nozzle. When the printer start to work, the all parts cooperate together, one of the parts had problem, the printing quality will be effected.

How to judge your printing problem? The elimination process can help us confirm which part had problem. This process we need to eliminate the parts one by one, mainly focus on the ink systems parts, like head, wiper, damper, captop, head cable, ink line. Sometimes, the printing nozzle can be normal by replacing the head cable or captop, these parts cost are not expensive, the printhead price generally cost high price, when we confirm if it is good, we can install it to other channel which without printing problem. For example, if your yellow color printhead prints good quality, you can remove it, and re-install the head cannot be printed let's say black color and test , if black head can print on yellow channel, which proves head is no problem.

The Better you know your printer, the less time you solve your printing problems.
